WHAT WARRANTIES ARE AVAILABLE FOR CADILLAC VEHICLES?

Taking to Bridgewater roads from behind the wheel of a new Cadillac can be unpredictable. Fortunately, when your Cadillac is adequately covered, you drive with peace of mind knowing that your high-end investment is protected. We’ve detailed the various types of warranties that you can opt for for your Cadillac vehicle:

  • Bumper-to-Bumper Limited Warranty: This warranty covers any repairs that your Cadillac needs–including parts and labor–to correct any defects in materials or workmanship for 4 years or up to 50,000 miles, whichever comes first. This coverage will automatically transfer should ownership of the vehicle change during the warranty period.
  • Cadillac Optional Extended Warranty: The Cadillac Extended Warranty lasts for up to 6 years or up to 70,000 miles, and it is only available at the time you purchase a new vehicle. This coverage has no deductible and it provides the same coverage as the Bumper-to-Bumper Limited Warranty.
  • Powertrain Limited Warranty: Lasting for up to 6 years or 70,000 miles, the Powertrain Limited Warranty covers any required repairs that result from defects in materials or workmanship to the engine, transmission, or drive systems. This coverage is available for Cadillac models from 2013 onwards.
  • 24-Month/Unlimited-Mile Limited Parts Warranty: This warranty covers a majority of Service Replacement parts (including GM Genuine Parts) and labor as long as that part was installed by a General Motors dealership. Parts that are covered by the warranty include ACDelco GM Original Equipment Brakes, ACDelco GM Original Equipment Rotors, ACDelco GM Original Equipment Alternators and Starters, ACDelco Gold (Professional) Brakes, ACDelco Gold (Professional) Rotors, and ACDelco Gold (Professional) Alternators and Starters.
  •  Limited Lifetime Parts Warranty: Available for specific parts sold by GM dealers, GM will cover the costs of replacing specific GM Genuine Parts for all manufacturer defects. The parts covered by this warranty include: chassis parts, electronic fuel pumps, ignition wire sets, radiators, shock absorbers/struts/ and wheel bearings.

SHOULD YOU PURCHASE AN EXTENDED WARRANTY FOR YOUR CADILLAC?

Middleboro shoppers often want to know if it is beneficial to opt for an extended warranty on their Cadillac. In short, extended warranties can be highly beneficial, especially because the likelihood of needing repairs increases as vehicles age and accrue more miles. If you want to rest assured that a major repair won’t set you back financially, and you want to ensure that your investment is adequately protected, then it may be best to consider getting an extended warranty.

CAN I GET A WARRANTY AFTER I LEAVE THE DEALERSHIP?

The short answer is yes. You absolutely are able to get certain warranties or extensions after you leave the dealership! There are certain limitations to this, and you have to schedule a time on your own to get an inspection from a certified dealership. We recommend speaking with our finance department or visiting us in Raynham for more specifics on how it works.
